My name is Amir Feinsilber, Founder of RealtyPass. My path to real estate technology began long before RealtyPass existed.
In 1995, I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Computer Science. From there, I entered the technology world as a software developer, working on various Sony PlayStation games with studios including Konami and Activision. I loved building things, solving problems, and creating experiences that people could actually use.
Then life changed.
After 9/11, I lost my high-tech job as an internet project manager and moved to Las Vegas. Like many people who find themselves at a crossroads, I had to reinvent myself. In 2002, I was pushed into the real estate industry, beginning my career with Coldwell Banker before later joining an independent brokerage.
It did not take long for me to notice something important: the real estate industry lacked a truly cohesive system.
I learned very early that real estate was often more of a “who you know” business than a “what you know” business. Like many new agents, I cold-called, door-knocked, and, as I like to say, “begged for business” in the Las Vegas heat in April of 2002.
But my technology background kept pushing me to think differently.
Instead of relying only on traditional prospecting, I began using a rudimentary, not-so-user-friendly CRM platform and tied it together with websites I built myself. I promoted those sites through Google pay-per-click and other online platforms at a time when many agents were still relying almost entirely on offline marketing.
By the end of 2004, with just two years of real estate experience and a five-person team, I opened my own brokerage.
The rest, as they say, is history.
Over the past 20-plus years, I have dreamed of building an all-inclusive real estate application — one that would not require agents, teams, brokerages, and transaction coordinators to jump between multiple vendors that never seem to connect “just right.”
Along the way, I have learned a tremendous amount. I am incredibly grateful to the thousands of agents who have walked through my doors — and, yes, even some who eventually walked out. Each one taught me something valuable. They helped me understand what the industry truly needed, what slowed professionals down, what created unnecessary friction, and what simply was not important.
RealtyPass is the culmination of more than 25 years in technology and real estate, a few trial-and-error applications along the way, countless lessons learned, and more sleepless nights than I can count working with both offshore and onshore development teams.
Are we done? Absolutely not.
But we have poured our heart and soul into building a platform designed to help agents, teams, brokerages, and transaction coordinators operate at maximum efficiency — without the cost, complexity, and frustration of subscribing to multiple disconnected platforms.
RealtyPass is built to automate the busywork, simplify the workflow, and give real estate professionals more time to focus on what matters most: their clients, their relationships, and their business.
I hope you enjoy using RealtyPass as much as I have enjoyed building it.
We will continue adding value, improving the platform, and listening closely to the professionals who use it every day. We cannot wait to hear how RealtyPass is helping you in your business.
Onward and upward.
